| What is the yearly cost for updates?
| The cost for yearly / periodic updates can only determined when the changes are issued by the FHWA. If there is no update, there is no fee. We do not charge annual maintenance, subscription, or support fees. |

| You need Adobe Acrobat Reader 5 or later. We recommend that it have the search option. Version 4, 5, 6 and 7 is included on the disk for you to use, or you may download (for free) the absolute latest version from www.adobe.com. |
| Can I use this in other computer applications?
| Copy and paste both text and graphics into other applications. Select and copy text for editing, or treat it as a graphic for an exact copy. Copy and paste complete or partial graphics. Print on color or black and white printers. |
| Does any one make a version of the MUTCD in Spanish?
| We are not aware of one. |
| Can I print a paper copy?
| If you need a hard copy you can print the manual from the program and make as many paper copies as you see fit. You can easily print the entire book, single pages, sections, or single graphics, both in color or black and white. |
| Can the MUTCD Federal version and State specific MUTCD on CD-ROM be installed on more than one computer?

| How does this software work?
| We have made finding the information you need easy by installing thousands of hyperlinks and bookmarks. Just click to go from one point to another. If a table is referenced simply click on the word Table in the text and you are instantly taken to the correct table. This function also works for Sections, Figures, Table Of Contents, Bookmarks, Typical Applications, Sign Codes, Notes, Graphics, and Graphics of signs. One other major feature is all of the graphics that make up a typical application have built-in hyperlinks. While viewing a Typical Application you can click a sign, taper, pavement markings, or traffic control device, and you are instantly linked to the information pertaining to the selected item.

| MUTCD 2000: Why do I get the message “EXPIRED DOCUMENT”?
| Unfortunately, our security software installed a file with a hidden expiration date. It was never our intention to make a document that expired. We apologize for any inconvenience. Call us and we will review your records and send a download or you may upgrade to the 2003 Edition. |
| I upgraded to a new version of Acrobat Reader and now the MUTCD does not work, what do I do?
| If you are using Acrobat Reader 7 for your MUTCD 2003, you will need to download a new file. You will need the Installation Key that came on the back of your CD case from your initial purchase.
1. Uninstall your Traffic Graphics 2003 MUTCD.
Start – Settings – Add/Remove Programs – Choose Traffic Graphics 2003 MUTCD – Remove – wait until the program has been removed.
