General Questions  
What is Traffic Graphics®? Traffic Graphics is software that will help design your traffic plans. It works with a version of CorelDraw, a graphics program.
Do I have to buy CorelDRAW from Professional Traffic Graphics, Inc.? No. You may obtain a version of CorelDRAW from any retail outlet. Please tell us what version you will use and we will make sure you receive the corresponding default setup instruction packet.
What Technical Support do you provide for Traffic Graphics? Traffic Graphics Basic and Traffic Graphics Ultimate includes a Learning Assistant, with short movies on the various tools and how to’s. We also have a toll free number to contact a representative. If a representative is not available leave a message, calls are returned promptly. We can also remote access your computer to answer questions. Tech support is always free.
Can I get a demo of CorelDRAW? You may download a trial version of CorelDRAW X4 from Corel at the address below. We do not offer any Traffic Graphics® software for demo purposes. If you would like a demonstration please call 877-827-3279.

Do you have the signs with the California sign code? No. They are named the same as the FHWA. You can however, change the name of the file to one of your choosing. Go to the folder that contains the Traffic Graphic images right-click the image and then click - Rename
Can you import MicroStation files into CorelDRAW? It depends on the version of CorelDRAW that you are using. The file must be converted to a dxf or dwg using MicroStation. Have the agency turn off the layers you do not need, such as landscaping, pipe runs, text and so forth. The file is then imported into either CorelDRAW 10 or later. With newer versions of software have them save the file as a PDF and import into Corel. Then you can add the Traffic Graphics images to complete the drawing.
Do I have to have an Auto CAD program in order to import CAD files? No, you do not need AutoCAD. You do need CorelDRAW 10 or later in order to import CAD files and there are some limitations. If this is a method you want to pursue there are several things we can do. Please contact us either by email or by our toll free tech support number 877-827-3279 and we will help you.
Can I use scanned drawings? You can import scanned drawings, photographs, orthophotos, and maps from some off the shelf mapping programs or Internet mapping web sites such as www.mapquest.com , http://earth.google.com/ to name a few.
Where else can I buy Traffic Graphics®? CorelDRAW® and any upgrades can be purchased from a retail store but Traffic Graphics cannot. Professional Traffic Graphics, Inc. is the sole source supplier of Traffic Graphics® software. It is copyrighted software; the copyright and license agreement is included with software purchases.
Can I use this software on every computer in our office? You must purchase a copy for each user to avoid copyright violations.
How much does technical support cost? There is no charge for technical support. Our toll free number is for both sales and technical support, so we always answer the phone. If you need us, call 877-TCP-EASY (877-827-3279). We are available during normal business hours, and if you need a help during extended hours, give us a try someone will likely be here.
Do you have a demo version? There is not a demo version. We can however show you a live demo from your computer if you have high-speed internet service and an email address at your place of business. Call for details. 877-827-3279.
Does Traffic Graphics draw traffic control plans? Traffic Graphics DOES NOT DRAW TRAFFIC CONTROL PLANS. You draw the traffic control plans using our design elements; you must know how to design a correct traffic control plan. There are various agencies across the US that can train you as to the proper application of traffic control devices.
Do I have to purchase Corel Draw? Corel Draw is the tool with which our software works. A version of Corel Draw is included in the price of our packages.
Do you offer training? Yes, we have various methods of training.
What are the minimum system requirements for Traffic Graphics? Traffic Graphics and Corel DRAW X4 requirements:
What is included with Traffic Graphics? Traffic Graphics comes standard with thousands of pre-built intersections, interchanges and the parts and pieces to make your own roadways. It also includes the signs and devices found in the MUTCD and the Standard Highway Sign Book. DEMO
Can I copy and paste information into other applications? Yes you can export into other file formats.
Are there any yearly maintenance fees? There are no yearly maintenance fees for any Traffic Graphics programs. Traffic Graphics for drawing Traffic Control diagrams became available to the public in 1997. In 2000 one add-on became available, Advanced Roadways.
