Roadway Work Zone Safety Awareness Awards -- Transportation Builder, April 2004
Public and private transportation professionals from California to Virginia were recognized for their commitment to safety at the ARTBA and National Safety Council third annual “Roadway Work Zone Safety Awar
ness Awards” program. The awards were presented at the 2003 Mid-West Work Zone Safety Conference &
Exhibit, Held in Springfield, Ill.
The awards competition recognizes specific projects, programs, education campaigns, and innovations that
demonstrate excellence in promoting worker and motorist safety in roadway construction zones.
